30 Days of Style: Day 15

image image image

Half way there, wahoooo!!! Today was my day off, I had allocated the day to try finish my Christmas shopping…I still need a few more bits haha! It’s never ending. I forgot to take my pictures this morning as my Sister popped round early doors and then we went straight out, by the time I was home my phone had died, so apologies for the poor quality I-Pad pictures.

Todays outfit is no different to others haha, nothing crazy or eye-catching. I wore my Topshop ripped skinnies. An old Topshop blouse, my River Island leather jacket and hugeeeee Zara scarf as if was extra cold today. Even Jack Frost had been to pay a visit this morning.

I wear a few of these items a lot so I have linked them below if you wanted some better pictures 🙂

30 Days of Style: Day 8

Day 8, I feel like I have been posting these forever haha!

This morning was an early one, hence the hair thrown up haha, well that and it was hair wash day. It’s been soooo cold outside recently, I’m always sat at my desk shivering so decided to dig out a winter warmer today. This jumper is a ribbed knit, quite thick and the perfect fit; not too snug or too loose. Jumpers can often drown me as I’m only short, or can make me look quite…..butch haha, that might be mind over matter but there’s something about jumpers I find a bit frumpy haha! That been said I really like this one, I got it last year from Primark, I think by memory it was about £15ish! Bargain!

My skirt is from Topshop (surprise, surprise) I love the colours in this, it looks lovely in summer with a cami tucked in, but for now it’s doing me just fine with black tights 🙂

My boots are my old faithful cut outs from River Island, I will be sad when I have to say goodbye to these, they are the comfiest, easiest thing to wear with any outfit but I think they have probably seen better days now to be honest.

We went to see The Hunger Games this evening, I wasn’t overly impressed to be honest, I found it dragged quite a bit and took a while to get going, have you been to see it?

30 Days of Style: Day 7

The more I upload these posts, the more I realise what a limited shopper I am haha! My clothes are always predictably from Topshop, Zara or River Island, maybe it’s time to spread my shopping wings….

Inevitably my outfit today is as above, Topshop Joni Jeans, in petite! Perfect figure hugging jeans, they sit just nicely above my ankle too 🙂 I think the shade I bought have sold out, but I found some similar below.

http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?searchTerm=Petite+jeans+&storeId=12556&productId=17077834&urlRequestType=Base&categoryId=&langId=-1&productIdentifier=product&catalogId=33057

My Peter Pan style blouse is from Zara in the summer sale. I love the fit of this blouse, a lot of collars are too restrictive on me, I don’t like them tight around my neck, and this is perfect, I think I actually bought the wrong size but I much prefer a loose fitting top so win win for me 🙂 It also had a built in necklace, 3 dainty gold chains which adds a little something different to an otherwise plain Jane blouse.

Finally, I teamed my outfit with my Zara heeled boots, which I’ve posted in previous blogs. I found the link below for anyone who wants a better look.

30 Days of Style: Day 4

image image image image image

After yesterday’s fail I was certain to make sure my pictures had saved this morning, success!

Today’s post is simple with a pop of colour. These Topshop Leigh jeans are the staple of my wardrobe, they go with literally anything and fit like a glove. I don’t think I own any other brand of jeans but Topshop, they fit my leg length and waist perfectly, no turn overs or baggy knees for me please 🙂

I dressed my jeans with a simple white, cross over shirt from River Island (http://www.riverisland.com/women/tops/blouses–shirts/Cream-wrap-blouse-658701) I love this style of shirt, a V-neck suits me much more than any other style of top, and these are so effortless and comfy. My pop of colour comes in the form of this Zara blazer. I got this last summer from the TRF section for £60, it looks great in summer with light denim shorts or a midi dress 🙂

My cream Tartan scarf is another Primark bargain, same as yesterday’s but just a different colour. I have another one of these in a red shade too haha #addicted! I did get these scarfs last year but there’s always some good scarfs in Primark. My final item are these cute pixie like tan boots! I almost always wear black boots, but it’s nice to switch things up sometimes 🙂

Hope you enjoyed, have a nice weekend 🙂

30 days of style: Day 3

imageimageimage

Grrrrr, failed miserably today. For some reason the pictures I took this morning hadnt stored on my phone, with not going home tonight I made a mad dash to town on my lunch to take a few pictures of my outfit….apologies therefore for the worse than normal pictures, it’s better than missing a day though, right? Hopefully haha!

The outfit….today I wore my petite ripped Baxter jeans from Topshop, paired with my heeled River Island boots and cream H&M shirt. I wore my blue tartan scarf from Primark which is really similar in style to the huge Zara ones but at half the price. It was freezing cold today so these blanket scarfs are perfect 🙂 I finished it off with my river island leather jacket. Think I may have to bring out my winter coat though now, it’s definitely starting to get colder now!

Sorry for the rushed post tonight, hope you enjoyed none the less 🙂

30 days of style: Day 2

I love Anna Saccone’s blog, at the moment she is doing 30 days of style. Since she has been doing it I have gone to her blog daily to see her OOTD. I thought I might get bored of seeing the same type of post but quite the opposite. With that in mind I thought I would give it a whirl and see how it goes….or if I manage 30 consecutive days more to the point haha! I hope it will make me delve into my wardrobe a bit more too and mix and match items, we will see.

When I buy a dress I try buy the ones that will look good bare legged in summer and with tights in winter, this dress is from New Look last summer and I think it transitions really well, I wore it with my Leather jacket, black tights and black Chelsea boots and think it turned out OK.

My perfume today was definitely ‘A blogger made me do it’ perfume. I heard Tanya Burr rave about this, but to be honest I don’t think its my favourite, I prefer sweeter, soft, girly scents. This is a bit masculine for my taste, that being said it is advertised as a unisex scent!

Hope you enjoyed 🙂

WIWW: What I wore Wednesday

image

Another Wednesday, another outfit. This time featuring my new Zara shorts. My friend and I went to our local shopping centre recently for a browse. We have completely different tastes in clothes but we know each other’s style well, I was in the changing rooms trying on some pieces I had picked up when she came in with these shorts, instantly I wa

sn’t won over but when I tried them on they fit like a glove. The colours are also perfect for tying in a lot of tops I already own, blacks, greens, grey etc.

Being short (5’2″) I struggle with buying items for my bottom half if I don’t buy from a petite section, Zara trousers/jeans are literally ridiculous on me length wise but for some reason the shorts fit perfectly. And best of all they were only £25.99!

I wore mine with my green H&M shirt, opaque tights and Chelsea cut out boots. I obviously added my trusty leather jacket and black scarf when I left home, it is November after all 🙂
